The other day, I came across a new start up called Ministry of Supply, a company that designs and produces light-weight, moisture wicking apparel for the professional on the go. Ministry of Supply has built their first product line around a material made of high-grade, wrinkle free, synthetic with intrinsic benefits designed to release heat, disperse moisture and block odor. The reason why this product strikes me as such a useful tool for the young professional on the go is because of the endless hours we spend in the office, at meetings and events where a suit is essential to your overall presentation. Many of us, regardless of our line of...

Single Malt Scotch: The Gentlemen’s Drink
posted by Desmond Wong
I’m normally asked what my drink of choice is, and the answer has always been a quality aged single malt scotch. In my opinion, any grown man should have at least a bit of knowledge about what to look for and how to enjoy it properly. Single Malt Scotch is a whisky made in Scotland from a single distillery that is matured in an oak cask for a minimum of three years to create a consistent flavor from one bottling run to another. Note that a quality single malt scotch in a moderate price range ($50-$70) will be aged anywhere from 10 to 15 years in an oak cask. This may seem like a steep price range if you’re just starting out on your...
