Fat City Bird Live at Hard Rock Cafe Boston
Born and based in Boston, MA, Fat City Bird is the shared brainchild of six multi-instrumentalists. After keyboardist Kyle Kornack introduced former bandmates Ryan Kershaw and Mike Bougas to rhythm section masters Robin Buyer and Mike Simpson, the five began jamming in Mike’s apartment, right above the local donut shop. A few months later, the band got down to crafting songs and playing shows around Boston. With the added versatility of Zack Trahan, Fat City Bird hit The Ark in Wellesley to record their first self-titled EP with producer Chris Powers. After hand-packaging copies of the album with the help of resident artist Trudie Kaiser, the band released the record at The Church in Kenmore Square, Boston. FCB boasts a tight, high-energy live show and ever-growing branch of material.
