The First ‘Boston Fashion Awards’ Debuted Sunday at Bijou
The Boston Fashion Awards, created by Performer Magazine’s Mike Zotos and Tony Hyppolite, was bustling with top local designers, models, photographers, stylists and other industry people at the trendy Bijou Nightclub & Lounge on Sunday.
The evening included fashion shows by designers Candice Wu, Drea Couture, Mark Miller, Samuel Vartan and Andy Jacques mixed with live performances by Ahmir, Il’Nara, Louie Bello, Makio and Shea Rose. Boston’s finest fashion entrepreneurs and supporters mingled among hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while the awards were presented by notable local industry figures such as designer Bless Mazarura and Iva Nicole, storeowner of Exclusives Music Meets Fashion
