Skyrim Gets Kinect Support! “FUS RO DAH!” Totally Works!

Bethesda Studios is jumping on the Kinect bandwagon with their new update for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, available for free later this month. I’m a bit reluctant to admit it, but even after about 150 hours of game play, I’ve got plenty more “questing” to do in the realm of Skyrim, especially with the 200 new voice commands being added in the free update. The good ol’ team at Bethesda has promised voice commands for dragon shouts, inventory menus, companion commands and much more. Not only will I be locked in my room battling Blood Dragons and Draugr Deathlords, I’ll be mumbling random words and commands to myself like you’d expect from any respectable video game nerd. Right?

I guess that means I’ll be stocking up on energy drinks and hot pockets in preparation for the update release. If any Skyrim fans are reading this, you’ve got a pretty good idea of how damaging this is going to be to your productivity and any remnant of your social life. For those of you that aren’t Skyrim fans, you’re probably thinking how much of a nerd I am. Well, call me what you will, but at the end of the day . . . dude, I’m the f*ing Dovahkiin.

FUS RO DAH!
