Sara Rathod

Position: Staff Writer – Non Profits

Industry: NGOs, Criminal Justice

Education: Wellesley College

BIO: My name’s Sara Rathod. I am a student at Wellesley College studying Political Science and Economics. I’m currently interested in the criminal justice and the prison system in the United States, and I hope to bring these interests to my work in the Non-Profit section of Let’s Talk Magazine. In the past, I’ve been heavily involved in Amnesty International and the ACLU in the Seattle area. I have worked as a professional street canvasser for the ACLU, and regularly volunteer for TeenFeed, a youth shelter in Seattle, WA. I am a big believer in the power of community and grassroots organizing. I hope to inform our wonderful readers about local efforts being carried out right here in the Boston area. In addition to the work I do with LTM, I serve as Co-Editor of the News Section at the Wellesley News.
